The recent winner of The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology, Klingemann’s pioneering work features an AI ‘brain’ that creates new images based on photographs of portraits from the 17th to 19th centuries. ‘Memories of Passersby I’ is a highlight of our upcoming Contemporary Art Day Auction (6 March | London) and will be the first self-contained, generative work of AI ever to appear on the market. Discover more about the artist and his creation In this episode of our series Expert Voices, produced by Onkaos.
