I have had many friends live in the studio apartment on the top floor of this building. The large angled iron section was formerly glass and was an art studio this was transformed into a recording studio when the glass was replaced with iron.

Paul the owner has a few different collections inside the barbershop such as Tobacco tins, Cutthroat razors, WW1 remembrance wall, Historic Invercargill building photographs and sporting memorabilia.  This ties in with my project relating to the Invercargill inner city facades nicely as my project has elements of the museum experience by producing images as artifact.

I shall be utilising the corner window box that has his hours signwritten on the inside of the glass. My plan is to print a background that tells people that it is there from the outside and displayed on the inside. I shall visit the site tomorrow to measure the internal dimensions I have to work with (mainly so I know how big a screen to use).
