Exhibition 3: Critique and Reflection

Bad Sector Block V2.0 at the Des Branks site.
Whilst some of the elements to my installation didn't fit that well the overall responses have been positive. The owner Paul mentioned that he had a few people taking photographs of the work (I assume one at least was a tutor). Paul liked that the window looked brighter than it was prior to my installation.

I am unsure as to the effectiveness of my poster in the Raw Gallery but figure at least I have a presence in the main exhibition.
Google maps was used to show the path from the Raw Gallery to the site at Des Branks

Elements to change:

  1. The 15 minutes of hard drive defragmenting without the images shall be cut (More images may fill this void)
  2. A better use for the children's blocks or remove entirely
  3. Professional signwriting for the top and bottom of the glass (this may include incorporating the Think and Create logo and a small advert for the event)
  4. The AI flowchart that is in the top and bottom banner linking to my walking of the streets.
Additions:

  1. Hand-drawn pictures of the buildings (I may end up working from the reference photographs, as the weather is preventing plein air approach) To instill some of my own person into the work.
  2. Maybe more screens featuring other aspects (The Walk)
  3. Transferring hand-drawn images onto the white painted Dr Martens boots.
  4. Pondering the inclusion of my earlier work from the first year that links mapping and computers.
